History

• 2005 Jerad, Nate & Ryan graduated from Kansas State University.

• 2008 Jerad started Studio Build with leads from his home renovation blog.

• 2010 Nate and Ryan partnered with Jerad and moved to a building in Merriam, KS

• 2012 Moved to Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City.

• 2014 Hired Greg Johnson as our first full time shop employee.

• 2015 Prepared for expansion, re-modeled our Crossroads Office.

• 2016 Hired Chris Penland as our first full time Architectural staff member.

• 2016 Hired Aaron Jensen as our Fabrication Manager.

• 2019

• 2020 Tried to survive Covid 19 and in the process decided to move to a larger facility located in the Westside South neighborhood.

• 2021 Hired Savannah Kruse as a full time Architectural staff member.

• 2021 Promoted Chris Penland to Principal.
