Project Location:
Kansas City, MO
Completion Date:
2015
Project Description:
Located in Kansas City's Westside neighborhood, the 715 Condo recently got a full facelift. The overall layout of the space is nearly identical but by removing the pantry / room divider in the kitchen, the main level was completely transformed into a open, modern & more functional space. The range location was swapped with the sink so that the vent hood would no longer obstruct the space over the island. We also designed and fabricated a new dining table as an extension of the island. The old bamboo floor was replaced with more traditional oak which was then stained dark to contrast with the walls. We were able to re-design the master bathroom to utilize the excessive space. The new nook has a custom quilt storage cabinet to store some the fantastic modern quilts that this homeowner has constructed. All of the casework (kitchen, master bathroom & quilt storage) was designed and fabricated at Studio Build. If you want to check out some of the homeowner's quilts, click here.
